ICP EXAM RESCHEDULE AND RE-TEST FEE INCREASE
Effective IMMEDIATELY --
Anyone rescheduling to take the March 2010 exam and beyond will be required to pay the new reschedule/re-test fees.

The fee for the 510, 570, 653, 936, and TES exams has been increased to $150.00 for each reschedule or re-test.

The fee for the Supplemental Certifications (571, 577, and 580) is increased to $75.00 for each reschedule or re-test.  (This fee change does not apply to QUTE or QUSE exams.)


NEW PROGRAM -- Qualification of Ultrasonic Sizing Examiners Certification (QUSE) now available.
API is now offering another Ultrasonic Examiner Certification, which requires a performance demonstration examination.  The first examination is scheduled for September 2009.  Please see further details on the API QUSE webpage.



API 653 CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION IN SPANISH
API is offering the API-653 and the API-570 Certification examinations in Spanish -- on a trial basis only – on September 23, 2009. The examination will be offered in limited locations outside the United States.  More information will be provided soon. If you have questions please contact Holly Johnson at johnsonh@api.org.



DON'T RISK YOUR PLACE IN YOUR SCHEDULED EXAM -- LEARN ABOUT ICP PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICIES

June 1, 2009 -- INDIVIDUAL CERTIFICATION APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED BY API. A Candidate will not be allowed to sit for an ICP Examination unless the appropriate fees are received and processed by API.

It is very important that all candidates review and understand these policies. Documents containing the deadline dates for upcoming examinations as well as the updated policies on payments and refunds can be found on the General Info/FAQ page. The information can also be found in appropriate application forms.
